About

He was born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan in 1981. At the age of five, when everyone was still staying at home without the pressure of school, he was already starting to learn how to draw and paint. As well as studying art, he also learned to play the piano and violin at a young age. 
     

The high school that he went to is very famous and well known for art in Taiwan. The art teachers there were very strict and had high expectations of. He learned mostly classical skills in high school such as ceramics, sculpture, drawing, painting, as well as some graphic designs and computer skills. In the last year of school, he chose drawing and painting as his concentration. During that time, he truly found out he loved art so much more than music and anything else and found art to be his favorite subject to study.
     

After high school, he applied to Muskingum College in Ohio and chose Fine Art as his major. The art classes in college had much more freedom than his high school classes. After three years of training in high school, he learned the basic skills, and so college, was a time for him to create his own work. He chose to paint abstractly. Hence, his undergraduate was a time that he could enjoy creating his own style of artwork, something that he had not had the chance to do before.
     

It was a pleasure to enter the Academy of Art University to continue studying and learning art as an MFA (non figurative) student. While at the Academy he continued to find himself, his style. His style began to develop to not only paint color, but to include meaning inside of the work. This ideally would allow the viewer to respond to what he was trying to express. Everything he would like to express from inner of his heart is on the canvas. To him, that is what a great artist should do.
